An actor friend of mine posted a link to the 2010 Actors roundtable which appears to be the first in a yearly series of interviews conducted by The Hollywood Reporter around Oscar season with the notable film actors for that year. I watched it twice through and then went searching for more. These interviews have some of my favorite actors who I respect tremendously. As an actor I found the interviews to be extremely relatable and it was fun to get a better understanding of the lives and views of these acting greats. Watching it helped me to realize that the enjoyment and challenges I face are not unique to me as an artist nor to my current level of acting career success.
I thought these would be helpful to other actors as well so thought I would compile and post them here. And for you directors out there there is a series for you as well. You can look them up on YouTube … keywords “THR directors roundtable”.
